Law Roach has shed light on the truth behind his appearance at the Louis Vuitton fashion show with Zendaya @Zendaya #EmmyNoms , after a video of the pair went viral.
The legendary stylist, 44, has worked alongside the Euphoria actress, 26, for years, and is responsible for some of her most iconic looks in that time.
However, after he confirmed his shock retirement last week, and put the spotlight firmly back on the fashion industry with his announcement, fans have questioned if there was more to his departure than he was letting on.
Many questioned footage of Law and Zendaya @Zendaya #EmmyNoms approaching the front row at the recent Louis Vuitton show, where the Dune star took her seat beside Emma Stone, and appeared to gesture for her long-time stylist to sit behind her.
Pouring cold water on rumors of drama, the former America’s Next Top Model told the Cut in an interview: ‘I’m always used to sitting next to her, so in my mind, my seat was next to her.
‘So, when I got there and it wasn’t, it wasn’t a problem but there was nobody to tell me where my actual seat was.
‘The seat behind her, when you see her turn around and touch the seat, it wasn’t her telling me to sit there, it was her telling me, “That’s Darnell’s seat”, which is her assistant. I’m not going to sit in Darnell’s seat. Where does he go? I was standing there, I was really just confused.
‘I’m programed, I’m coming from a house that I know where my seat is – it’s right next to her, it’s always right next to her. That’s part of our relationship and our interaction, seeing the clothes together. The little cues and touch like, “That’s the look”.
‘When that didn’t happen… Someone was like, “Law, you have to sit,” and I’m like, “I don’t know where I’m sitting”.’

The fashion world was rocked last week when he announced that he would be stepping back from his iconic stylist gig on Instagram.
‘My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all,’ he said at the time.
‘If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not!

Law later insisted that there was no way he would be ‘breaking up’ with Zendaya @Zendaya #EmmyNoms , having been by her side for some of her biggest moments and red carpets.
