Match of the Day 2 returns to our screens tonight with its usual format following last weekend’s disruption.
Last Sunday’s show was scaled back to just 15 minutes, without commentary or studio analysis, as a result of the fallout from Gary Lineker’s impartiality row with the BBC over comments he made about the government’s new immigration policy.
And so with business returning to usual, what time is Match of the Day 2 on tonight and who will be presenting the show?
Here is everything you need to know.
What time is Match of the Day 2 on this evening?
Match of the Day 2 will be shown live on BBC One at 10.30pm tonight (Sunday, March 19).
Viewers will also be able to live stream the show on the BBC iPlayer at the same time.
The programme will be available to watch again on iPlayer shortly after the show has finished at 11.10pm.
Who is presenting Match of the Day 2 tonight?
Jason Mohammad will host this evening’s edition of Match of the Day 2.
Mark Chapman, who usually hosts the show, stepped in to replace Lineker on Saturday’s nights programme with Lineker instead hosting the FA Cup game between Manchester City and Burnley.
Mohammad, who presents Final Score on a Saturday afternoon, has hosted Match of the Day 2 in Chapman’s absence on multiple occasions in recent years.
Which games will be shown?
Only one Premier League game is taking place on Sunday – Arsenal vs Crystal Palace.
The Gunners started the day five points clear of Manchester City, who are not playing in the competition this weekend owing to their cup commitments.
