Emmerdale spoilers: Cain and Caleb join forces to take down Amy over Kyle

Relief at getting the news that the case against Kyle (Huey Quinn) was bring dropped in last week’s Emmerdale soon turned sour for Cain (Jeff Hordley) when he discovered that Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) was planning to go for sole custody of their son.

Knowing that he’s going to need all the help that he can get if he’s to fight this decision, Cain asks his brother Caleb (William Ash) to get involved. It was Caleb, after all, who helped to secure Kyle’s release by getting his solicitors on the case, so Cain is hoping that Caleb will have some ideas.

Moira (Natalie J. Robb) is uneasy, however. As much as she loves Kyle and is torn apart by Amy’s decision, she fears that Cain and Caleb could make things worse by destroying any chance that they can sort things out amicably with Amy.

Moira’s fears turn out to be well founded as that’s exactly what happens. And encounter with Caleb leaves Amy feeling distressed, and there’s worse to come. Kyle has a fight with Nicola (Nicola Wheeler)’s son Carl (Charlie Munro Joyce) and Nicola threatens to call the police on him.

Knowing how serious this could be for Kyle, Amy is reeling and Cain is quick to blame her for allowing it to happen.
