Hogwarts Legacy: where to find venomous tentacula and how to grow your own
If you want to learn the Wingardium Leviosa spell, you’ll need to find a venomous tentacula plant in Hogwarts Legacy.
Attending Herbology class in Hogwarts Legacy will educate you about magical plants and how to use them in combat, as well as give you access to important spells like Wingardium Leviosa.
Much like mandrakes, which you’ll also need for one of Professor Garlick’s assignments, you can either buy them or grow them from seeds in the Room of Requirement.
If you want to know more about venonous tentacula, here’s where to find it in the game, including how to grow your own.
Although you may be able to get a small supply of venomous tentacula for free in the greenhouses in Hogwarts, the quickest and easiest way is to buy it from the Dogweep and Deathcap shop.
Like most shops, Dogweep and Deathcap is located in Hogsmeade, at the northernmost point of the village.
Venomous tentacula seeds will cost you 1,050 galleons, while the plant itself is a little cheaper at 600 galleons.
If you plan to use venomous tentacula frequently, your best bet is to buy the seeds and grow the plants yourself, as it will work out cheaper in the long run.
You can then head to the Room of Requirement and use a potting table with a large pot to plant the venomous tentacula seeds. The plant will take 15 minutes to grow before you can harvest it.
To increase your plants’ yield, it’s also worth buying fertiliser for 300 galleons, which is also available to purchase from The Magic Neep shop.
On the other hand, if you only want one venomous tentacula for Professor Garlick’s assignment, buying it will save you money and, most importantly, time.
