Player recreates delicious Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sandwich IRL

A dedicated, and hungry, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fan created his own custom sandwich in the game and then also made it in real life.
Making a sandwich is one of the most useful features of the picnic table in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as sharing a meal with your pokémon won’t only make you feel closer to them, but also give them some much-needed stat boosts.
There are over 100 types of sandwich in the game, ranging from a simple Jambon-Beurre to the overfilled Ultra Tower Sandwich. You also get the option to make one following your own custom recipe, if you really want to test your sandwich making skills.
That’s exactly what one aspiring pokémon trainer did and they were so pleased with the results they ended up recreating it with real life ingredients.
From the photos player Tanukiyasha posted, you can see that their in-game snack had cheese, lettuce, hamburgers, tomatoes and what seems like mayonnaise.
They also decorated it with a cute sandwich pick that has a golden star and a purple bow on it.

Every time a sandwich is made, it’s ranked on a scale of 1-3 stars, with a higher ranking usually providing better buffs.
Tanukiyasha’s sandwich, dubbed the Tasty Yasha Original, scored a rating of 3, meaning that his pokémon will reap some nice benefits from devouring it.
When recreating their Pokémon recipe in real life, the player can be seen adding pickles, chopped onions, ketchup, and garlic herb seasoning (it’s a must!).

The end result looks exactly like it does in the game… sadly, minus the cute sandwich pick.
This isn’t the first time a person has recreated their favourite video game recipe, as it’s also very common amongst Sims players.
In fact, following The Sims recipes became a viral trend on TikTok, as soon as fans discovered there’s an unofficial Sims cookbook they could purchase.
Seeing that sandwich making has become a popular hobby in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet maybe Game Freak and The Pokémon Company should consider making their own IRL recipe book.
