Pep Guardiola provides Kevin De Bruyne update after Man City star missed training ahead of Spurs clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed Kevin De Bruyne is available for selection ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League showdown against Tottenham.
The Manchester City captain sparked fears he would be absent from a must-win game after he missed Tuesday’s training session.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Guardiola revealed De Bruyne had been dealing with a personal issue but insisted the City skipper is available for the game against the champions’ bogey team.
City can reduce the gap to leaders Arsenal to five points with a win against a side still smarting from Sunday’s north London derby defeat.
Tottenham did the double over City last season but the reigning champions are also likely to be boosted by the returns of John Stones and Ruben Dias who both missed Saturday’s defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
‘He [De Bruyne] had a personal issue and was not training. Today, he is back,’ said Guardiola.
‘They [Dias and Stones] were in the last two training sessions, they have trained and are in contention.’
