EastEnders viewers astonished after spotting Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins in latest episode
TV worlds collided tonight when Love Island star Olivia Hawkins was spotted on the latest episode of EastEnders, much to viewers’ astonishment.
Since entering the villa, ring girl and actor Olivia has already had her fair share of dramatic twists and turns on her quest to find love.
On the first day, the 27-year-old attempted to steal Kai Fagan from fellow islander Anna-May Robey, before Tanyel Revan ended up coupling up with the teacher instead.
Before entering the villa in South Africa for Winter Love Island 2023, Olivia opened up about her past career in the entertainment industry, having had a role in the most recent James Bond film No Time To Die, as well as acting as a body double for stars including Emma Watson and Michelle Keegan.
During tonight’s episode of EastEnders, she showed up in the soap in an unexpected moment, as she was first seen by Zack Hudson (James Farrar) heading into the entrance for a bar with a friend in high spirits.
After Zack also went into the establishment, where he had a chat with Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf), he caught sight of Olivia’s character giving him a flirty look from across the room.

Several viewers were caught off guard by the Love Island star showing up, with one tweeting: ‘Swear Olivia was just on Eastenders!? 😂😂.’
‘Wait what’s Olivia from Love Island doing on Eastenders loool ???’ another remarked.
Someone else also wrote: ‘Spoiler love island Olivia is on Eastenders tonight haha mad!’
A representative for Love Island confirmed that it was Olivia in the episode.
Before the start of this year’s ITV2 series, the islander expressed her desire to feature in Albert Square.
‘I actually did doubling for Whitney [Dean, played by Shona McGarty] for one of the new year’s episodes,’ she told theDaily Star and other media.
‘So yeah, that would be a very full circle moment to go on and be one of the characters, even if it was just a drop in.’
She also speculated over a new character she could play in future, stating: ‘I feel like I’d maybe just be a drop in. The girl from Sussex. I don’t do a great cockney accent.’
