The man, believed to have been carrying a puffer jacket, tried to push the lady in entrance of an oncoming prepare at Leicester Square station at round 3.30pm on November 6.
British Transport Police (BTP) stated the sufferer had been ready on the platform when she noticed the person in query arguing with an aged man.
The man then walked over in the direction of her and grabbed her by the arm earlier than dragging her in the direction of the tracks.
She briefly escaped from the person however was grabbed once more and pushed in the direction of the tracks as a prepare entered the station.
Two passengers intervened and managed to tug the lady away from the suspect, BTP stated.

‘The suspect is described as a male believed to be in his late twenties with a muscular construct, carrying a beige scarf over his head and a brief puffer jacket.
