In yet another pet controversy, Katie Price has been criticized for appearing to strike her new puppy Tank in a TikTok live video.
Katie, 45, received immediate backlash from appalled viewers as puppy Tank excitedly played on her lap only to receive a suspected smack.
The former glamour model attempted to maintain control of the growling dog while trying to share some of her ‘bargains’ with viewers.
Frustrated with his behavior, Katie put the puppy off camera next to her and gave him a toy but the Alsatian continued to seek attention.
Tank could be heard growling and was apparently sitting on Katie’s favorite sweaters when the mother-of-five reached her hand out and a noise similar to a smack was heard.
Peta have criticized the behavior with founder Ingrid Newkirk stating it ‘solidified’ the notion that Katie is ‘unsuitable’ to keep pets.

After the smack, Katie grins at someone else in the room before explaining that the house is ‘hectic’ and buries her head in her hands.
Tank was adopted after the death of her dog Blade earlier this year and Katie vowed to keep him protected.
The adoption came amid a petition with over 36,000 signatures to prevent the TV personality from owning animals due to a history of tragic pet deaths in her care.

In June, Blade was hit by a car after he escaped from the star’s home in East Sussex and accidentally made his way onto the busy A24.

Peta declared Katie ‘unsuitable’ to keep pets (Picture: Katie Price/Instagram)This death occurred just seven months after the model’s other dog Sharon was struck down and killed on the same main road.
Her Alsatian Queenie was struck by a delivery driver the year before Sharon’s death after she was given to Katie as a present from her ex Kieran Hayler for her 38th birthday.
Another Alsatian, Sparkle, was also killed on the A24 in 2020 and her French Bulldog Rolo was suffocated by a chair just months later.
Rolo had been purchased as a gift to her daughter Princess to help her cope with the loss of Sparkle.
Two other pets, a horse and a chameleon named Marvin, have also died in the care of Katie and her family.
Metro has reached out to representatives for Katie Price for comment.
