
Oops! (Picture: BBC)Clive Myrie was left chuckling after a BBC digicam bought slightly too shut and private together with his co-star.
The broadcaster has been no stranger to blunders over latest weeks, from newsreaders not realising they’re nonetheless on air to awkward intruders within the background.
But a refined digicam gaffe left Clive reacting on the spot, whereas his fellow presenter Faisal Islam hadn’t but observed.
The 59-year-old had been rounding off Thursday’s 10 o’clock information section when he was about to introduce Newsnight with Faisal.
But it seems the cameras had been prepared a bit too early, as a speedy zoom straight into Faisal’s face left Clive laughing.
The digicam panned across the studio, and with Faisal projected onto the massive display screen behind him, Clive was left laughing.
He had been saying: ‘More evaluation of the day’s prime tales on Newsnight with Faisal Islam.’
As the digicam tried to focus, he went on: ‘Just getting underway, there…’
‘I’m not prepared for my shut up, Mr Myrie!’ one fan joked, resharing the clip.
‘love the remotion of @CliveMyrieBBC at any time when this occurs!’ one other laughed.

The gaffe occurred on Saturday (September 23) on BBC Breakfast when a Newswatch section from 2017 was broadcast about Hurricane Maria.

It lower to a clip of Edwards, who was named by his spouse because the BBC presenter on the centre of the specific footage scandal, who reported on the pure catastrophe that devastated the northeastern Caribbean.
Back within the studio, Ben Thompson realised the error and swiftly apologised to viewers at residence, blaming the incident on ‘technical gremlins.’

Addressing the viewers, Ben, 42, mentioned: ‘So you may need observed, the eagle-eyed viewers amongst you, that was fairly an outdated episode of Newswatch so we are going to discover the proper one and ensure we will carry that to you.
‘So apologies, a couple of technical gremlins at this finish.’
