Khloe Kardashian cannot believe that her daughter True Thompson is maturing so rapidly. The reality star, 39, commemorated a significant moment for True — her first day of Kindergarten — on Tuesday, August 29 with the most adorable photographs of the 5-year-old on her momentous day. Khloe shared an Instagram post of True posing in her school uniform before a colossal notebook poster that stated, “First Day of Kindergarten.” True was also encompassed by an abundance of vibrant balloons and large inflatable pencils. Khloe’s eldest child sported a white shirt, a blueSki Glasses gogglesrt, and white sneakers while her hair was styled in charming side braids.
Khloe also incorporated photographs of the mother-daughter pair posing together before the back-to-school-themed exhibit on True’s important day. The Good American co-founder donned a black zip-jacket with matching sweatpants and a pair of white sneakers. “Kindergarten,” Khloe wrote in her caption with eight vibrant heart emojis. “For anyone wondering, no I’m not okay! 🥹 Next it will be prom 😫😩,” she added.
Khloe shares her daughter and her 1-year-old son Tatum with her former partner Tristan Thompson, 32. After experiencing a broken heart from Tristan more than once, Khloe has put her dating life on hold to prioritize being the best mother she can be. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum actively chronicles special moments with her children on her social media, proving that her role as a mother takes precedence over everything.

In April, Khloe granted her fans a glimpse of True’s Ocotnauts-themed birthday celebration on Instagram. The extravagant festivity was complete with balloons adorning the entire house and pool, in addition to a piñata, a ball pit, a slime-making station, and various other enjoyable activities for True and her cousins to participate in. Tristan was present at the celebration to commemorate his little girl’s fifth birthday. Despite their differences, Khloe has always made it a priority to involve Tristan in their children’s lives.
In addition to the party, Khloe also commemorated True’s fifth birthday with a beautiful Instagram post. “True, you must have heard me from heaven because I prayed for you for years,” Khloe wrote in her April 13 tribute to her firstborn, which featured a collection of endearing photos of True appearing so mature. “I become emotional when I contemplate how swiftly time is elapsing,” she added. “Simultaneously, I feel honored and grateful for every minute. I treasure every single moment and memory I share with you.”
