A couple of licensed movies have arrived on Netflix thus far this week and our favorite by far is The Big Short, Adam McKay’s significant retelling of the events that occurred during the 2008 financial crisis.
It’s a clever retelling
Just to shift gears for a moment and connect with Netflix and pop culture, the film features Ryan Gosling, who is still riding high after his role as Ken in Barbie during the summer (Summer is here SALE). You may have heard that director Adam McKay will be collaborating with Netflix once again for his next film (the second one exclusively for Netflix after Don’t Look Up): Average Height, Average Build.

UNTOLD: Swamp Kings

During August, we witnessed the release of volume 3 of UNTOLD over the course of the past 4 weeks, and it concludes today with the grand finale in the form of a four-episode series exploring the Florida Gators in the late 2000s.

Wrestlequest
Originally scheduled to release on Netflix Games earlier in the month, WrestleQuest finally arrived on both the Apple and Google Play stores yesterday.
The game, developed by Skybound Games and Mega Cat Studios, takes place in the world of professional wrestling and allows you to fight and roleplay as some of the biggest icons in the sport.
As with all 70+ Netflix games, there are no advertisements or in-app purchases.
