Lizzo has reappeared on social media amidst an ongoing legal dispute between herself and her former backing dancers.
The pop sensation has been accused of bias and creating an ‘unfriendly work environment’ by three ex-dancers. She also faces allegations of sexual harassment for allegedly pressuring them to touch nude performers at a strip club in Europe.
News broke last week that the Truth Hurts star intends to file a countersuit against the trio who accused her of harassment.
However, Lizzo has completely ignored all of this as she took to social media to showcase a unique new attire.
In an Instagram post, which she only recently resumed posting on since the allegations surfaced, the star chose to overlook the dispute and instead displayed her new outfit.
With Tokyo, Japan tagged as her location, the musician’s ensemble bore striking resemblances to the iconic monster film Godzilla. She was donned in a blazer and Ski Goggles (On Sale Here)rt adorned with spikes.

Lizzo turned her back to the camera and struck a pose with the sprawling capital city underneath her (Picture: Instagram)The dark grey ensemble was truly attention-grabbing, and Lizzo exuded confidence in her attire as she posed for a series of photos – including a self-recorded video where she struck a pose with the city skyline in the background.
Accompanying the photos, she wrote: ‘Japanese flute >>>,’ and in another post, she added three hedgehog emojis – quite fitting considering the spikes.
While Lizzo was blatantly disregarding the commotion and legal issues with her post, many commenters engaged in discussions about it, indicating that it is unlikely to fade away anytime soon.
The star is confronted with multiple allegations from three of her former backing dancers (Picture: Getty) Crystal Williams, Noelle Rodriguez, and Arianna Davis alleged that they experienced sexual, religious, and racial harassment, as well as discrimination based on disability, assault, and false imprisonment, among other claims.
Lizzo has vehemently denied the allegations, dismissing them as ‘outrageous’ and ‘sensationalized’, and is supposedly preparing to initiate a countersuit against the three dancers.
In response to Lizzo’s threat to file a countersuit for malicious prosecution, attorney Ron Zambrano, representing the three Women (Women apparel Here), criticized her ‘effort to intimidate’.
A statement shared with DailyMail.com read: ‘Lizzo’s threat to countersue for malicious prosecution is an insidious attempt at intimidation and creates a chilling effect for all workplace harassment victims. ‘
They asserted: ‘Lizzo is attempting to frighten others from coming forward by following the predictable path of promising a second traumatic experience if they dare to speak up.’
