Lara’s appearance in Call Of Duty, unexpectedly merging the worlds of Tomb Raider and Call Of Duty, has left fans eager and hopeful for what’s to come. While Fortnite has managed to incorporate crossovers from various movies, games, and TV shows without much controversy, Call Of Duty’s attempts have faced more criticism. However, this time seems to be different.
Fortnite introduced Lara Croft years ago, but it is only now that she is making her debut in Call Of Duty. The character model looks remarkable, with a fresh reinterpretation of her iconic attire, rather than drawing inspiration from the reboot trilogy.
No specific information has been provided by Activision regarding which game her appearance is based on. However, since a new Tomb Raider game is currently in development, many speculate that the design in Call Of Duty is influenced by it.
Although no footage or images of the new game have been released to the public, it has been revealed that Amazon is co-producing it. This upcoming game is expected to incorporate elements from both the modern and original era games, allowing for a more connected continuity and the reintegration of aspects from the older games that the recent ones overlooked.
Until the new game is formally unveiled, it’s impossible to say for sure what the developers have planned. However, if this Call Of Duty operator serves as a sneak peek of what’s to come, it appears to be a promising step in the right direction.

How to obtain Lara Croft in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2
The Lara Croft operator will be added to Call Of Duty as part of Season 5 Reloaded, the mid-season update scheduled for September 9. To acquire Lara Croft, all you need to do is purchase the Tracer Pack: Tomb Raider Operator Bundle. While the price has not been confirmed, previous operator bundles were priced at 2,400 COD Points, roughly equivalent to £16.80.
Considering the level of detail and effort put into creating this operator, there is a possibility that it might have a slightly higher price point.
The Call Of Duty blog provides a comprehensive list of what is included in the bundle, including a pickaxe melee weapon and, of course, Lara’s famous dual pistols.
