Jenelle Evans‘ progeny Jace, 14, has been located unharmed after going AWOL for a second time in the past fortnight, as per TMZ. The adolescent was allegedly discovered at a filling station after departing their domicile in North Carolina on Monday. Jenelle’s manager, August Keen, informed the outlet that Jace was absent for several hours devoid of communication, causing apprehension for his mother, who involved law enforcement in the search for him.
The filling station where Jace was found was situated ten minutes away from their family residence, and it remains uncertain whether he was unaccompanied or in the company of friends. This situation unfolded mere weeks after he was reported missing following his premature departure from school earlier this month. In a statement shortly after the news broke, Jenelle, who is also the parent of son Kaiser, 9, and daughter Ensley, 6, voiced her concerns and explained the rationale behind them.

“As a mother of a boy, children can misbehave and demonstrate rebellious tendencies, as I’m certain a majority of us did during our own childhoods. Jace got into trouble at school, so we decided to confiscate his phone, and that’s when he chose to abscond,” she disclosed to TMZ at the time. Eventually, he was found safe, and according to reports, his motivation for running away was the confiscation of his phone by Jenelle.
Now that he has fortunately been located unharmed for the second time, August further informed TMZ that Jace, who can be seen with Jenelle in the photos below, is back home with Jenelle and her husband, David Eason, and they are all harmoniously coexisting. August also stated that the teenager yearns for more autonomy as he matures and has been exhibiting the typical behavior of a teenager.
Jenelle welcomed Jace during her teenage years with her ex-partner Andrew Lewis. Although her mother, Barbara, was granted custody of him in 2009, Jenelle revealed earlier this year that she had taken over custody. “#MyHappyEnding, IT’S OFFICIAL! Thanks, everyone, for the support!” she exclaimed alongside a heartwarming video clip showcasing her signing legal documents and discussing the process of reclaiming custody of Jace. “Words cannot describe how genuinely happy I am. Our family is now complete! Thank you, Mom. ❤️😭.”
