The 24-year-old has emerged as a target for Thomas Tuchel, who previously collaborated with the defender during his tenure at Stamford Bridge. Tuchel is particularly interested in Chalobah’s versatility, as he is capable of playing in multiple positions, such as defensive midfield, centre-back, and full-back.
In the next 48 hours, Bayern is anticipated to approve Benjamin Pavard’s transfer to Inter Milan, and Tuchel is seeking a replacement. Chalobah has fallen out of favor at Chelsea, and Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that the player is free to depart from the club before the window closes.

However, the £50 million asking price from Chelsea is proving to be a hindrance, as stated by the Evening Standard. This is not a fee that Bayern is willing to pay, especially after splurging on Harry Kane. Nevertheless, there is a willingness from both parties to find a resolution, as Chalobah’s future at Stamford Bridge hangs in the balance.
