Ariana Grande’s estranged ex-husband Dalton Gomez was spotted hanging out with friends in public for the first time since news of the couple’s split was announced in July.
The 28-year-old real estate broker and 30-year-old chart-topping singer tied the knot in May 2021 and reportedly separated last January, keeping their relationship breakdown under wraps until months later.
On Friday, the celebrity realtor was seen enjoying a game of pool with his friends in West Hollywood’s Barney’s Beanery without his wedding ring.
Staying out of the spotlight since his public divorce, the property expert wore a dark green t-shirt over the top of a white long-sleeve shirt.
He hid his face underneath an army green baseball cap and appeared sombre as he stood with his arms folded across his chest.
According to TMZ’s sources, Ariana’s ex was ‘incredibly sad’ during his night out in the Hollywood hotspot and ‘mostly keeping to himself and staying quiet’.
At the time of their public split in July, a source explained to MailOnline: ‘Ariana and Dalton have nothing but respect for one another. They’re still friends and want to remain that way moving forward.
‘There was no cheating, no resentment between them, the marriage just simply didn’t work out. These things happen.’
Dalton was spotted ringless out and about as rumours of a new love r in Ariana’s life heightened while the star was filming on the set of Wicked in London.
Last month, it was claimed that the 7 Rings singer indulged in an ‘affair’ with her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater, 31.
Sources revealed to TMZ that the pair of actors had begun dating ‘several months ago’ while they were working on the film adaptation of the much-love d musical.
Despite his supposed entanglement with Ariana, Ethan married his high school sweetheart Lilly Jay in 2018 and welcomed his first child – a baby boy – with her in August 2022.
Almost a year later, the Broadway star filed for divorce from his wife and new mum Lily last month in July.
Following the shocking news, Lily opened up to MailOnline and told them: ‘I am focused on rebuilding a life for our son. This is what I am trying to do and this is my only focus.’
