A man whose husky mauled his three-month-old daughter to death has admitted to being in charge of the dog.
Baby Kyra King was killed by her dad’s out-of-control dog, named Blizzard, by Ostlers Plantation, near Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire on March 6 last year.
She suffered injuries to her neck and head and died at the scene. Her parents Karen Alcock, 41, and Vince King, 55, were arrested at the scene.
The couple had been loading 19 huSki Goggles (On Sale Here)es at around 11pm into a van, with the rear of the vehicle tweaked to contain lockable cages for the canines.
The dogs, who were used for racing rather than being pets, raced around the woodland but Blizzard broke free and attacked Kyra in her pram.
Today, Vince pleaded guilty to being in charge of the dog moments before he was due to stand trial at Lincoln Crown Court.
