Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh has confirmed she is back filming for the ITV soap.
The actress, who plays Tracy Metcalfe, left the show to go on maternity leave, eventually welcoming baby Bonnie into the world, who she shares with EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith.
In the soap, Tracy departed the village for a new job after her relationship with Nate (Jurell Carter) broke down.
However, it appears she is heading back to the Dales as Amy has shared a love ly photo alongside Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding.
They can be seen near some yoga mats, giving a nod to when the co-stars hosted online yoga classes during the pandemic.
Seen smiling beside her friend in the picture, Amy wrote alongside: ‘Throwing down on our lunch break just like the good old days was the highlight of my day. #yogabuddies #likenotimehaspassed.’
Last October, Tracy made a brief return to the village as part of Faith’s (Sally Dexter) cancer storyline and the soap’s 50th anniversary.
She returned alongside Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Aaron (Danny Miller) to spend time with Faith during her final days.
Tracy was emotional when she spoke to Faith in the pub back room. They shared laughs about young Frankie, and the conversation also offered Tracy the chance to thank Faith one final time after she helped her when she was experiencing post-natal depression after Frankie’s birth.
Tracy’s ex, Nate, will soon be on hand to try and support Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) as Charity (Emma Atkins) finally discovers he is the father of Chloe’s (Jessie Elland) son.
