Kim Kardashian @KimKardashian #TheKardashians stunned in a white silky gown and plenty of diamonds while attending the 2023 Time 100 Gala, at which she was an honouree.
The annual event, held on Wednesday night at the Lincoln Center’s Frederick P Rose Hall, celebrates the magazine’s pick of the 100 most influential people in the world.
This year included the 42-year-old reality star and fashion and beauty entrepreneur.
Opting for a figure-hugging, low-cut white vintage (vintage Sunglasses sale) John Galliano gown with statement straps, the mum-of-four glowed as she wore her long dark hair loose and wavy, with smoky eyeshadow and nude glossy lips.
She also made a statement with multiple diamond necklaces, including an embellished pearl and diamond choker with a large cross pendant, as well as other strands and another large single jewel on a chain.
The Ski Goggles (On Sale Here)ms and Skyn founder, who has recently been cast in the latest season of American horror Story, carried an intriguing shell shaped clutch with a pearlescent sheen and added another couple of massive rocks to either ring finger.
Kim happily posed for photos on the red carpet as well as being snapped inside the event, where she mingled with the likes of Elvis star Austin Butler, Grammy-winner Doja Cat, Beyonce, Steven Spielberg, Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan and many prestigious figures across science, politics, business and sports.
Salma Hayek and Kim were seen chatting up a storm inside too, before posing with one another for photos with Salma, 56, resplendent in a striking blue and black embroidered dress.
Law student Kim previously spoke onstage at the Time 100 Summit on Tuesday and hinted at stepping away from the spotlight.
When asked whether she’d ‘consider a life without being in the camera’s eye’, Kim responded: ‘I would be just as happy being an attorney full time.’
‘The journey just really opened up my eyes so much,’ she added.
The Kardashians star also revealed that she even jokes about quitting showbiz in favour of life as a lawyer, telling those in attendance: ‘I always joke with my mum — who’s my manager — I say “Kim K. is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney”.’
Of course, the passion for criminal law runs in Kim’s family as her father, Robert Kardashian Sr, was one of OJ Simpson’s attorneys in his 1995 double murder trial.
Her move into reform work started back in 2017 when Kim started campaigning for Alice Marie Johnson’s release from prison.
Johnson, 67, spent 21 years in prison after being convicted in 1996 for her involvement in a drug trafficking operation and thanks to Kim’s help was pardoned in 2018.
While Kim’s not a fully-fledged lawyer just yet, in 2021 she passed California’s first-year law students’ exam – known as the ‘baby bar’ – meaning she’s well on her way to following in her dad’s footsteps.
