There are decisions to be made in tonight’s episode of EastEnders (Thursday, April 13), as Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) realises she has to take drastic action to solve her money problems.
With bills piling up and the prospect of Lily’s (Lillia Turner) baby arriving later this year, Stacey is struggling.
She may have avoided the wrath of loan shark Shiv but she and the family are far from out of the woods.
Stacey is under massive pressure as costs spiral at work and home, while Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) reminds her that her pitch fees for the market are due.
Freddie (Bobby Brazier)admits he couldn’t get by without his extra money making scheme – selling feet pics on SecretCam.
After a chat with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) about her page 3 modelling days, Stacey makes a big decision – she will sell pictures of her own, as previously revealed ahead of the topical storyline.
‘In her world, Freddie’s money making tactics has never even popped up, so she just think it’s quite an odd thing to do,’ Lacey Turner explained to us, revealing her character’s initial reaction.
‘But it’s good money, so I think there’s part of her that also thinks, if you’re paying the rent, you’re paying the rent.
‘She does tell him to stop it but then when she sees that he’s actually making half decent money from it she tries to encourage him to carry on.’
Meanwhile, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) quizzes Suki (Balvinder Sopal) about why only one hotel room was booked in Leeds.
Suki fears that her secret trip away with love r Eve will be exposed; especially given what her husband is capable of.
Will she manage to put him off the scent or is it time to confess?
Later, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) tells Suki about her plan to get rid of Nish – she has recently turned informant to bring him down.
Will Suki go along with it?
Finally, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) are angry when Zack Hudson (James Farrar) brings Amy (Ellie Dadd) home and tells them that she tried to steal booze from Peggy’s.
They insist that there can be no more lies, but ahead of Denise’s affair with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) being exposed, things are only going to get worse for Amy.
EastEnders continues on Thursday April 13 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
