Carol Vorderman has bowled over her followers in a fresh-faced video clip on her social media.
The former Countdown star, 62, is known for her glamorous appearance but wowed fans equally with a glimpse of her makeup-free face during a reel on Instagram.
On Tuesday, the presenter had fun with a social media transition trend as she showed a before and after of herself sitting in the hair and makeup chair.
Carol used a fluffy brush to conceal the switch from having her hair in rollers and with makeup-free skin, to revealing herself with her long blonde hair freshly styled, with pink lipstick and dark eye makeup done.
She was also wearing a new outfit of a beige ribbed top with lace-up detailing and black leather trousers.
‘GLAM FOR PERFECT 10 🧡 Getting ready for another week of @perfect10carol… the number 1 podcast in Apple’s Leisure and Games categories 🥳🥳🥳,’ she wrote in the caption, in reference to her daily quiz podcast Perfect10Carol.
The upcoming I’m A Celebrity All Stars contestant also credited her makeup artist, Lauren O’Donnell.
It’s safe to say Carol’s followers were loving her look in both the before and after sections of her video clip.
‘love your natural beauty,’ enthused one, while another commented: ‘With or without the makeup – always 🔥🔥🔥’
‘Gorgeous before and after 😍,’ echoed another, as someone else wrote: ‘love ly with or without make up.’
‘🥰🥰Not much difference 😍Miss Vorders,’ posted another fan, while plenty of others praised the maths whizz and qualified pilot as ‘stunning’.
Carol previously impressed with her intense Monday gym workout routine, where she could be seen squatting, weight-lifting and showing off demonstrating her sit-up technique.
The presenter has also been very forthright when discussing both her love life as well as UK politicians, calling MP Dominic Raab ‘a bullying piece of …’ after he smirked at getting her pal the late Paul O’Grady’s name wrong in a House of Commons speech.
She recently revealed that the five different men she’s dating – who she refers to as her ‘special friends’ – are known by her two kids, 30-year-old Katie and Cameron, 26.
‘My “special friends”,’ Carol began. ‘I’m continuing with that system and it’s working very well.’
She added to You magazine: ‘One’s been a friend for 11 years, one for seven. My kids know most of them.’
Reflecting on her relationship with her ‘special friends’, Carol continued: ‘The goal of my life is to be happy, not to be in love . I just find people interesting and life interesting.’
The maths whizz also insisted she’s ‘not a jealous person’ and that honesty is key when it comes to her romantic partners.
Carol was previously married to Royal Navy officer Christopher Mather for a year in 1985, before tying the knot with management consultant Patrick King in 1990, with whom she shares her two children.
They divorced in 2000.
