Coronation Street lines up another big week on the cobbles, with some shocks on the cards for Weatherfield’s finest.
Tracy Barlow refuses to leave the police station until something is done about Amy’s rape trauma, glueing herself to the desk in the process, much to her daughter’s horror.
Paul Foreman, meanwhile, receives devastating news, as he’s told he might have motor neurone disease.
Elsewhere, Glenda Shuttleworth gets a blast from the past, while Sarah Platt gives Damon Hay some words of advice.
Fancy a first look at what’s coming up?
We’ve got three – well, technically four – little clips to tide you over until our next visit to the cobbles, previewing all of the above events.
The fallout of this week’s developments, as ever, continue into the next, and with so many questions left unanswered, here are some brand new spoiler clips.
Monday April 3
Tracy refuses to leave the police station, with DS Swain determined to talk her around, informing her she’ll be taken away to a cell if she doesn’t ‘calm down’. Tracy, however, reveals that she’s not going anywhere until something is done about Amy’s rape case, as she glues herself to the desk!
Is she set to be arrested?
Wednesday April 5
Paul is shocked to find out that the doctors still aren’t sure why he’s experiencing these worrying symptoms. Things then take a devastating turn when the consultant explains that such symptoms are common with those of motor neurone disease and, if diagnosed, he could only have three years to live.
Paul reels, struggling to process the news.
Friday April 7
Todd and George attempt to deal with Estelle, a difficult customer at the Undertakers. Estelle, however, is an old pal of Glenda, and once they set their sights on each other they burst into song, enjoying a good old-fashioned musical theatre-inspired reunion.
Over on the eponymous street, Damon harasses Sarah, who shows no interest in him, encouraging him to make things right with Leanne after all the damage he’s done to her family.
Will Damon heed Sarah’s advice?
