Alison Hammond appeared to address her relationship status with partner Ben Hawkins once again after a man was reportedly arrested on suspicion of blackmailing her.
The TV personality – who regularly hosts ITV’s This Morning alongside Dermot O’Leary and was recently announced as the new co-presenter of The Great British Bake Off – was reportedly blackmailed for large sums of money and a £5,000 BMW, according to The Sun newspaper.
West Midlands Police said a 36-year-old-man from Warwickshire was arrested on suspicion of blackmail on Saturday evening, and has been in custody for questioning.
He was later released on conditional bail, the force said on Sunday evening.

During Monday’s instalment of the daytime programme, Alison said she was wearing green jewellery as a way of declaring her single status.
‘More people are wanting to meet people out and about and having a green ring might be a good idea so that people know you’re single,’ she said.
‘As you can see, I’ve got my single ring on.’
Last month the belove d presenter and her partner of two years, gardener Ben, were rumoured to be walking down the aisle after his dad dropped the news they were speaking about getting married.
