After Carla Connor (Alison King) crashed into Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) a few weeks ago in Coronation Street, he’s been left with a long-term injury in his hand.
This has created more than one issue for Paul. As a result of not being able to work, Paul’s lost his income – which isn’t ideal giving the cost of living crisis.
He’s also chosen to sue Carla to get compensation money which is creating a difficult dynamic between Paul and Peter (Chris Gascoyne) as, understandably, he is wondering why Paul would want to create further problems for not only his neighbour, but someone supposedly struggling with their mental health (we know, of course, that Carla is actually being drugged by Stephen, which is making it look as though she’s going through a difficult period).
