While many of us are still cringing at the whole shebang, Ashley Graham is taking her awkward interview with Hugh Grant at the Oscars 2023 in her stride.
The 34-year-old supermodel caught up with the Notting Hill actor, 62, at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night in an exchange that would quickly leave viewers at home wincing.
During their conversation, Ashley attempted to engage in a fun conversation with Hugh, however, he struggled to hide his disinterest and summed up most of his answers to her questions in three words or less.
‘What was it like to be in Glass Onion? How fun is it to shoot something like that?’ Ashley enthusiastically asked at one point.
But Hugh wasn’t in the mood for playing ball, and quipped: ‘Well I’m barely in it, I was in it for about three seconds.’
One day on and Ashley is refusing to be offended by the situation with Hugh, telling a reporter: ‘My mama told me to kill people with kindness.’
Speaking to TMZ, she said that she had ‘so much fun’ at the star-studded event. ‘My feet hurt though.’
Elsewhere during her awkward chat at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Hugh described the Oscars as ‘vanity fair’ before adding that he was excited to see ‘no one in particular’.
He also admitted that he could not remember the name of his tailor when Ashley asked him who designed his outfit before she asked him about his cameo in Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
