Doctors spoilers: Luca discovers a secret about Nina’s son
Luca (Ross McLaren) is helping Jamie (Zak Ghazi-Torbati) move into his new place this week in Doctors when suddenly Jamie’s mum, Marisa (Samia Ride) turns up unannounced.
Before long, she’s teasing Jamie and playfully quizzing Luca about his exact intentions towards her son. Luca suspects Jamie set the surprise visit up, but Jamie denies this and is worried Luca will be put off. Luca isn’t, but does wonder what Marisa thought of him.
The next day, Luca and Jamie have fun, flirting and looking for a new bed for Jamie in a furniture shop. This relaxed mood vanishes, however, when Luca reacts badly to a joke Jamie tells, conjuring up an image of them both as old men sharing a bed many years in the future. This image frightens Luca who pulls out of a drag show the two were planning to go to and storms out.
Later, Luca is surprised when Jamie turns up and asks him out for lunch. Jamie challenges him about his weird behaviour but Luca shuts him down by saying they should break up.
