
Jake Paul offers Tommy Fury ‘all or nothing’ bet over fight purse ahead of Saudi Arabia showdown
Jake Paul has offered to pay Tommy Fury double if he beats his rival in Saudi Arabia Sunday.
In a rivalry that has been two years in the making, the undefeated fighters with finally meet in the ring in Riyadh this weekend.
During Thursday’s press conference, the 26-year-old offered to make things more interesting, insisting he will give up his entire fight purse and hand it over to his rival should he lose to the Briton.
John Fury, Tommy’s father and trainer sat next to him on the stage, eagerly accepted the offer on his son’s behalf with Paul insisting a contract for those terms has been drawn up by his lawyer and is ready to sign.
Paul then mocked his rival for allowing his father to accept the bet for him.
It sparked a tense confrontation with the two, with Paul rising to shake Fury’s hand to seal the bet with Derek Chisora playing peacekeeper.
The fighters also shared a stare down in front of the cameras ahead of the opening bell on Sunday.
