What is Tesco Clubcard Unpacked? See how you shopped in 2022
You’d be forgiven for not thinking too much about what went in your Tesco trolley last year.
Once you’ve done your weekly or ‘big’ shop, and successfully stuck to your budget and got your favourites, you’ve probably long forgotten exactly what you added a month or two ago.
But if there’s something you always pick up at the supermarket, or you have a fail-safe meal deal combination you like to buy, Tesco might be about to remind you of them.
A new feature for some members of its loyalty scheme Tesco Clubcard is being released, called ‘Clubcard Unpacked’.
Here’s what you need to know about it – and how to see yours.
What is Tesco Clubcard Unpacked?
Clubcard Unpacked seems inspired by initiatives like Spotify Wrapped.
It’s showing customers how they spent on their shopping in 2022 – including your most-bought products, your favourite meal deal combination, and your favourite supermarket aisle.
You’ll also find out how much you’ve saved on your shop by making the most of Clubcard Prices.
Not everyone has access to this feature, though.
It should become available for around 8 million Clubcard members, according to Grocery Gazette.
To look for it, go to the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app (rather than the specific Clubcard app, which is being phased out), and look under the Clubcard tab.
If you don’t have it yet, it may still be on its way in the next week or so, as the feature is still being rolled out, reports Delish.
However, on Tesco’s Twitter account, a representative told one customer who hadn’t received it: ‘We’re still trialing this new feature and if our customers like it then we may expand it to more customers in the future.’
Either way, you might be keen to find out what the overall most popular meal deal option among Clubcard users was in 2022… a Tesco Sausage Bacon and Egg triple sandwich, plus McCoy’s Flame Grilled Steak crisps and a 500ml Coca-Cola.
