Videos shared on social media showed a burning building, and said an object resembling a helicopter or drone had crashed into a nursery building. A nursery full of children was evacuated after a Ukrainian military helicopter fell from the sky

Officials have said there have been multiple casualties after the incident just outside of Kyiv.

The aircraft came down in the town of Brovary, close to the north-east of the capital, on Wednesday morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene.

Oleksiy Kuleba, said: In the city of Brovary, a helicopter fell near a kindergarten and a residential building.’

He added that ‘children and employees were in the kindergarten… there are casualties recorded.’
