Coronation Street spoilers: Todd faces jail after Paul leaves Mike to die over sick Summer jibe

Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) could be facing prison as a result of Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) actions in tonight’s Coronation Street (January 18), which saw him leave nasty Mike (Tom Lorcan) to die.
After paying an unsolicited visit to a terrified Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) in hospital, Mike was chased down by Paul and Todd, who wanted him to pay for locking her up and leaving her to die.
Cornered outside his house, Mike made a jibe about Paul’s relationship with Summer, and how it seemed inappropriate.
Paul, having been the victim of abuse as a child, flipped, forcefully shoving Mike and watching as he hit his head on the pavement.
Todd and Paul then made a run for it, with Paul stressing that he may end up back in prison for the assault, considering his previous convictions.
It wasn’t long before the police caught up with them, stopping them outside the Rovers and asking after Paul.

They revealed that Mike had reported him for the assault. However, before Paul could land himself in any trouble, Todd stepped up and confessed on Paul’s behalf.
As Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) arrived, understandably shocked, Todd was arrested for the crime against Mike.
Is Todd really willing to go to prison on Paul’s behalf, or does he have ulterior motives?
