A French romantic drama motivated by the 2015 terrorist attack that happened at the Bataclan theater has actually been delayed due to a reasonable public protest.

The film, entitled Ce Soir-Là (That Night), is imaginary love concentrating on a single mom and an Afghan guy who got away from the Taliban. They satisfy and most likely fall in love in the procedure of saving survivors from the attack, Deadline reports. The entire task sounds entirely tone deaf.

Public broadcaster France 2 chose to stop production on the movie after a petition versus the film reached 39,000 signatures. Claire Peltier, who began the petition and whose partner passed away in the attack, asked that France 2 renounce the movie since it is rude to those who were or passed away hurt in the attack.

The film is still being modified however France 2 stated in a declaration that the task is being delayed “until the production has widely consulted all victims’ associations.”
